How to talk to a shy guy? I always try to make little comments but he only replies with one word answers... and same goes when i ask a question.

ANSWER:

You need to be a bit more assertive with a shy guy. They tend to get overwhelmed and crawl back into their shells. The best way is to just tell him what to do by inviting him along.

"Hey I'm going for coffee. You need to keep me company."

If he really doesn't have a choice, then he will follow. Here is your opportunity to engage him in a more "private" situation.

Believe me, he wants to talk to you. He wants to hang out with you. He just has no idea how. By taking the reigns and making time with you MANDATORY, you have a much better chance at getting him to open up.
